have you tried running it with the sirio 2611 pipe? |

Did you measure the fuel lt after you heard that rough sound?(On .12 or .21) After 8 lt at the conrod having a little space at the bottom where is the gold cicle. After that lt there is a breaking point at the gold cicle. Nick |

I need to ask a ques, im using a Sirio Evo 1 .12 engine on a FW05rr. I know it needs to use a different type of starter box to accomodate its engine placement.
From the looks of my engine, can it support a roto-start? I dont suppose so right? There's nothing to poke the rotostart into. But the previous owner mentioned that he used a handheld starter. Is there a handheld starter other than sth similar to rotostart that i do not know of? |
you can use a r/c plane handheld starter like this one http://www.modelflight.com.au/buy_mo.../p7260184a.jpg
but you have to replace the cup on the end with a rubber wheel. |
in order to use a drill type starter you would need a pull start style crankshaft. Most starter boxes will allow you to move the motor and wheel from a parallel to a perpendicular position. For instance the Kyosho box will start both on road shaft and belt cars, as well as the big 1/8th off road buggy/truggy. Using a starter box will be much easier than anything :)
