Tim, don't even bother with that guy... He's a complete idiot plain and simple.
His's life's mission is to post on RCTech and to get a reaction... Don't even bother replying to his posts... The Owner/Mod of RCTech should look at all his posts and see what garbage he's been putting out and ban him completely. They should not only ban his screen name but also his inter-net IP# from his PC/inter-net service provider... Am I the only one that feels this way??? .02

Quick question.. If I was to soak my engine head in Denatured Alcohol to get rid of some of the dirt, will it cause any other problems??

If your engine has some incrustated dirt that doesn't come off, the better for cleaning is to use them and let cool until is warm (not hot... around 60ºC) to touch and clean it with Serpent putty or a quick blast of brake cleaner and some compressed air (done to me and gave me good results).

If you put your engine into denatured alcohol you're risking to dry the o-rings and crack them. I would not to do it mine engines.

Hey Tim, if you read my post correct, I was talking about Sirio. I was just asking why so many STI cranks are breaking. I was also asking why i've seen engines loose the fins on their cooling head mysteriously. I did not spruik the Novarossi product once in my post, so im not sure where you were reading about Novarossi.
Should existing users, or people looking to buy Sirio, not be made aware of these problems. "Please excercise some respect" for their right to know.

Cheers

Hey Rc Alan, I believe you are the idiot, by looking at all your post you always act like you knew something whereas you don't know what you are talking about, so take it easy and stick to monitoring not posting, cheers.

If you're talking about the aluminum heatsink (which I'm sure you are, just making sure), I wash mine with soap and water. I used to clean the cooling heads of other engines with brake cleaner but found that the anodizing went dull. Soap and water doesn't eat away at the anodizing.

-I have lost one fin give me a break man!!!

Dude Im going to the Novarossi thread to preach about the amazing Sirios, that seems to be the go, then I will visit the Mugen thread and preach how good I think G4s are.
