Can anyone suggest a good Efra legal pipe for the Sirio EVO 3 (normal of STI). I use it in a serpent 710 and the normal sirio pipe is to long without modifing it a bit.
So I would like to buy one that fits without modifing. What would be the best for the sirio: JP, Novarossi,... I allready used a JP but I would like to know if there are better. |
Hello Defently go for a sirio pipe i think its the efra 2611 pipe here is the part number of the kit that will work the best. pn# S12-200008 thats a full pipe and header kit. Regards Jeremy.

I would like to use/buy a new Sirio pipe if I'm sure it fits. |
I use the novarrosi 2630 or 2630(short fat one 2630  ) with either 5 or 6 fin header with great results with my sti!
I can highly recomend it :) |

You may have to use the stumpy Novarossi one then it is about the shortest pipe but you could also try a sirio short header I still think you would get better paformance from a sirio pipe on a sirio engine. sirio make short mid and long headers. Has some one tryed the stumpy novarossi pipe and header on a sirio 12 I run 21 engines and I have limeted infor on sirio 12s Regards Jeremy.

i spoke to my local hobby shop/supplier today and apparently sirio is finalizing/has closed down due to lack of money/funds. very disappointing seeing that i just brought a evo 3 sti(because it's better than my mega) and soon you won't be able to get parts for them unless some shops have alot of supplies. which means when it wears out i'm going to have to look at buying another new engine because there's a chance i'm not going to be able to rebuild.

It has been mentioned before that this is not true, I suggest you read the previous page of this thread. |

Sirio NOT closing their doors....
To All,
I just got off the phone with Andrea Rossi at Sirio and they are not closing their doors. If fact they have two new .21 engines that I feel are going to make a big impact this year. R/C Car Magazine will have a review next month of the Kanai EVO III off road engine that we and Sirio are very proud of. The EVO III has different port and induction timing than the EVO II and it runs very strong. Check out the review when it comes out. Sirio will also be releasing a long stroke Off-Road and On-Road engine (CL7 line) in the spring. No test results on these yet, but the longer stroke will yeild more torque which is what some racers have been asking for from Sirio for a long time. We should start seeing the new EVO III engines the first week in Feb and the CL7 should be released in April some time. Joel Johnson Kyosho America |
