Hi Alex,

I use my own fuel which i know is good as i get nitro from my dad who buys it in sealed 44 gallon drums. I buy sealed drums of methanol and i use klotz oils. I only use sirios plugs, sirio pipes and i am one of the most expirienced tuners at our club. Kellets are the ones who have not returned my e-mails and whos phone keeps ringing out so mate i am pretty much over the whole sirio thing.

I run a Mugen and have pressure tested the brand new tank i put in the car and t tested good. The OS engine that i borrowed off a mate to finish the season has run fine with no problems so i am pretty sure its not a tuning issue.

Regards,
Daniel Morris

Hi Daniel,
It sounds like you need a change thats fair enough mate I cant help you there.
I thought that you wanted help with your Sirios thats what I was offering.
With regards to Kellets, All I can say having worked with the previous Sirio importer is that Kellets are doing a 100% better job, and infact I was there today and every time the phone rang it was answered, what can I say!!!!
If you are still keen to sort out your engines then I repeat
1) TRY RUNNERTIME or MECCAMO RB FUEL
2) USE ONLY SIRIO 7 PLUG FOR % 16
3) If You are still having problems with the tune then get a MORE
EXPERIENCED PERSON TO HELP Brendale might be your answer.

Sounds like that you just want to bag the product but you must realise that there are tons of these engines out there and tonns of happy racers.
If you cant get you ones going properly then it is only an reflection on your own achievments, mabe Sirio is not for you.
Happy racing

i work at kelletts and were are flat out this time of year and we do our best do answer all phone calls questions and emails you must remember we not only do cars but boats planes and choppers so everyone is always busy. We are also having a problem with getting our latest shipment in at the moment they keep telling us 2 weeks 2 weeks but not much else as no one in the shop speaks much italian and the language barrier is quite difficult at times so please be patient we are doing all we can we are constaintly sending them e-mails phone calls and letters we have even paid for the shipment.

i race at the same club as Daniel and i can say he IS experienced in the nitro field as are some of the other guys.Daniel is not the type of guy to just go and bag a product.

could be that he just got a lemon.a good friend of mine has a brand new JP that was meant for his mbx5 but it had a hairline crack in the engine casing.he got no help from the Aus Jp importer and its now an expensive paperweight.

some times lemons just happen.

Hey Alex,
Mate its not that i want to bag the product, but when you try over and over to get help with a product that you like (which i do) and get nothing then how is one supposed to feel? I have converted alot of Nova guys that were in our club over to Sirio because they were great engines that were easy to tune and were fast. Then you have a brand new engine destroy a set of bearings which inturn destroys head button, pitson and liner and rod, you think yeah ok bad luck. So you change bearings in your second motor because it starts to behave like the front bearing is leaking, no joy, ok bakplate and carby maybe leaking, replace all o'rings and seal the back plate, still not joy, oh the back plate fells a bit funny going into the case, ok i have warped the case when changing bearings so put another set of bearings into the new case that the bearings just failed in, being careful not to repeat the case warp problem, beautiful, no warpping and the bearings fall in, nope still wont come back to idle, ok maybe the fuel tank had a vaccum problem, replace tank and all fuel lines, nope, ok change piston, liner, rod, crank and head button, not all at once but one at a time to try and fix the problem. No joy, ask some expirienced people, like Trevor Kerr (From the Brandale Club), even spoke to i think Gary Kellet at the worlds and he offered some suggestions yep tried them all nad guess what? I still have a problem, tried the brand new STI carby that i have just to humor myself still no good. Right 3 weeks ago i e-mail Steven Burgess, yep ok he is busy but you would thin within 3 weeks i would have got some help. Not a thing. So i now hope you understand why i am a little over the whole Sirio thing, because we were told when Kelletts took over they were going to be better, Now in stocking parts and things yep 100% over the last guy, but that is where it stops. I would love to keep running Sirios because between them and the CRF they are the quickest no doubt from what i saw at the worlds, but without support whats the point of having the fastest motor? I thank you for the advise and will try what i havent already which is the plug as i said i have always used Sirio 6's. I am still sure it is an airleak but where i dont know anymore. If you would like to have a go at it i am more than willing to send it to you if that is what you are offering?

As i have said Alex i am not trying to bag it and yes i understand that is the way it come accross but i truly do like the product.

Regards,
Daniel Morris

Ps Thanks for the support Dallas

Daniel,
I have never Damaged or had to change any bearings in any of my Evo 111s.

Dude
CHANGE YOUR FUEL
RUN A SEVEN SIRIO PLUG
If That does not help then check your PM you will find my phone number, call me and we will arrange for you to send me your engine and I will have a look at it for you. But Please Try Runnertime and the plug first. Call me and let me know how you go.
