Rainer,
A correctly tuned STI can be as fast if not faster than all the motors you listed..remember head clearance, correct plug and nitro content all have a pivotal roll to getting the correct performance. Try the STI i have a feeling youll love it.....

So when are you coming out to Hawaii to tune my engine for me?
And no, I am not paying for the ticket.

Well locally here in Ft.Lauderdale we have a small track 130' x 70' and the StI scream around this track nothing done to them completely stock...in the state series tracks are much bigger and the motor then can really open up....

You guys have seen the videos, so you know what type of track I run on. That's why the bottom end to mid-range is so important. The CRF and TZ can pretty much keep up with anything on the straight - even with the JPs. It's the infield performance that seperates the tortoises from the hares.
The last thing I want to do, is blow extra money on an engine that can go 65+ MPH, when all I really need is a screamer from 0-30 MPH.

Hmmm... My choices are quickly narrowing down to 3 specific engines. I just need to decide which one to get - and find someone that has it in stock that I can buy it from - for a reasonable price.
