ok lets see i geared it wrong not knowing sirios to well cuz i only ran novarossis, and i was tryin to make it run like one but you can't do this,all i wanted to know was whats the difference between the efra and the ifmar,is one faster or is the efra just speced that way and runs the same. and its just to say that i broke them but i still like them,but dont under gear them,

guys, i am still considering a few engines to buy
- Sirio EVO3
- Max SL3
- Kawahara OS
- Novarossi 12-3CT

so under this thread, i would like to know is there any spare parts available for this EVO 3, hows the performance? coz i couldn't find the parts in the internet, i.e. piston. linear, conrod, turbo head. etc. also heard that this EVO 3 is very similar to RB Matrix. thanks. btw, is there anywhere in HK where we can get Sirio parts?

Novarossi Plus 12-3CT with Novarossi 2630 Pipe! Simply the best engine/pipe combo on the market! In saying that, the Sirio would not be a bad choice. I've made the change, and the Plus 12-3CT has been insane!!!

yeah, i have heard everywhere saying that 12-3CT + 2630pipe is the best hottest engine in the market lately. i guess i would give it a try then.

IMO novarossi's just the flavour of the month.
IF you want a good engine then get one that has proven to be fast on the race track, most people use and can lend a hand with tuning, and easy to get parts for.
also $$$ has a lot to do with it too.

The only difference is the Cranckshaft type. The E engine does not have work done to the crankshafts, and the center bore is different.

Mabe if you ran your sirios with the right plugs pipes fuel and tune you would have seen what they really can do. You saw them at the worlds!!!!!

2) Please explain recent crank breakages on STI (plenty at the worlds)
3) Does STI or any sirio come with a rear ceramic bearing
4) My opinion is based on what I think, and i did not say that my advise is

5) Come out to Moorebank and the drag race is on. Also, try to get more
than one meet out of your motors before you blow them to smitherines.
Including destroying the fins on the head because you ran it so hot

STI and other Sirio engine does not come with a Ceramic bearing, but Does the Nova Rossi come with a crankshaft that will break? that is one of the reason why Adrien Bertin suck at the 2006 Winternationals you can see him holding the broken off part of the crank complete with the clutch assy.
