If my experience can serve to you. Did from a 5mm venturi a 5.3mm and used an INS box. This helped me to make 5 minutes and very few seconds, lost a tad of power, but at least was able to finish the qualififiers.
a 6mm may be better gota get one but where.

Under the rules I race, the max venturi allowed is 5.5mm of diameter and I wasn't capable of doing 5 minutes and you told me to put a 6mm venturi?

And regarding your last posts on this thread:

ya the rule is 5.5mm but if you run no rules do you think 6mm will work better.

What would be the areas on the engine where it would suffer an air leak? And if so, how can I repair it?

I have yet to suffer any..so I don't have any specific area to look for..but I would say if a leak would occur most likely the carb area..needles..always check your orings for scaring. Prevent maintenance is your best bet ..hope this helps.

Would I need to put something on the carb to seal it, because I didn't?

Nope, what you need to do is order a carburetor rebuild o-ring set and change them, usually the problematic ones are the ones are mounted in the LSN needle, change them in first instance and 99% your problems are a matter of the past.

This kit is very cheap and is handy to carry a bag of those, can spare of many problems and rough times at the track.

S12 13011 O-RING KIT.

Have any of your local Kyosho dealers order it direct from Kyosho America.
