also would you put in the extra head shim in for breakin

Thanks Ben
i use byrons race3000 30/11 for run in , use a heat gun to get to temp then staart and cover the head with a pit rag or equivalent , usually lean the high needle about 3 hours and lsn about 9 hrs on the new nova carbs for run in on average .

depends on what engine on the shim thing

I like the maintenance of the clutch and it works great in the .28 but on the .21 it has a slight bog off the bottom. Looking for a clutch that grabs strong & has good durability. I have not ran a standard 3 shoe alum. in a few yrs. but I remember there was a lot of maintenance.( constantly filing shoes, bearing and spring replacement. Any suggest. would be appreciated. Have heard the m2c 4 shoe were good clutch set ups.:
i run the kyosho cars and use 3 blue alu. shoes ( sometimes two blue and 1 silver(hard) shoes ) with 1.0mm springs and get pretty decent life out of the whole setup but yes there is maintenance . the fioroni turbo twin that you are running works well in low bite surface to reduce a little wheelspin and take some torque out of the engine . fioroni clutches were all i used to run about 4-5 yrs. ago

cooler , not necessary

fuel line/pressure line , 8" of each has worked flawlessly for me

just my opinion

i finally got a chance to run in the n21bf today monty (using your instructions of course). i was very impressed, still rich and it was making pretty good power. it idles more reliably than my p5x even with a rich lsn, which is great. now it's just a waiting game for the nuts to drop so i can start unleashing the lil beast.

Default Reliable power!

Hey Monty,
Nick and I just wrapped up the Rise RC points series yesterday. Nick took 1st place for the season and I took second. Nick truly won his place by driving very well and very consistent. I believe that I won 2nd due to the fact that I was there for every weekend. I did improve my times as the season went on but Nick is on a whole different level. I can say that the dependable Houston's engines were a huge factor in how we did this year.
Thanks for the killer engines and the support Monty.
Will be talking at you soon I hope.
