hi again Houston I have a question, how do the exhaust pipes work?

does longer more free-flowing exhaust create more high speed where as shorter not a free flowing exhaust create more torque? like round header vs. squarish looking one

just trying to understand how to match up pipes to engines..

thank you

i think pricing will be close to 40$ a crank

what about wrist pins?

also will HES shave some materials off since the DLC does add some thickness (even if very minor)?

$40 bucks isn't too bad at all. at that price I'd get all my cranks coated. nothing like a reliable long lasting crank.

Monty,

Is there anything I can do to my n21bf to get some extra power out of it ? Any tricks I can do without having it modded ? Im wanting to get it modded but cant send it in until I can buy a plus 4. I dont want to be without an engine is why but when I do get the plus 4 Im gonna use it for a back up. Im running the dyn. 086, odonnel #99 and it runs great as is but of course Im always wanting more power.

Road : what r your high and low carb settings to get the odo99 to run well? I am running byron gen2 25% and just can't seem to make it run well.

thanks

I've finally gotten my hands on a N21BF, I allready have a Dynaminte 086 lined up, what is the preferred plug? OD 97/99, others?

the signs of a throttle hound

if you think you want more power try a toro or fms

i ran a "houston tuned" bf limited today and it had way more power than i thought it would and was very impressed by a 155$ engine

that 99 plug can be a little tricky to find a good balance between making good power while still being able to idle ;)

try odo100 , you will be very impressed

I havent even checked the amount of turns on either but its a whopping 95-100 degrees with anywhere from 80-90 % humidity where I live. Ive tried the Med plug but it didnt seem as good to me. It may be me though. All I can say is this is a beast and I dont have any problems with idle, flame outs or anything of that nature. Im working on gallon #3 and have raced it 4 weekends with one 3 day event at the rc pro race in wilsonville, al and I have finished each round without incidence. Knock on wood !! It normally runs about 235-250 when it comes off the track with good smoke and plenty of power everywhere. I love this engine. Im almost considering just getting another and letting Monty mod it instead of buying a plus 4. I like to compete with less of an engine so I can give all the vspecs and speeds h$ll.
