Yeah she can wheel, and wheel well. She and her Husband usually run oval and she is a national champ in 1/8th nitro late model. She's still new to the offroad side, but getting faster each time out. Both are real cool people and love to race.
Bother her and the Kid that took 1st had me by over two laps. It was all I could do to just get the 3rd spot. A very rough first 8 minutes and then a flame out after my first pit stop (took so long to start the main, my pit guy didn't have me topped off all the way. Cavitated the fuel in the filter after the stop), and I thought I was done for. It's racing though and in a long main a lot can happen. Wish I could have got the start I had going and stayed with them. I think it could have been a real fun battle. Good job none the less bro |

Running out of fuel is not considered a flameout , that is running out of fuel :D;)
Good job none the less bro It's all good though, I have struggled to get milage on that track in the past with the same setup. Track is a lot like the Silver State track, and if it's dry, on man wheel spin city. I did two stop a 30 minute main though. On a side note, My pit guy has a plus4 in his D8 buggy, not sure of the exact generation spec. He was running a JP3 on the engine and we got it tuned in, but the milage was nowhere close to what the Plus4's are known for in a buggy. I know the track surface was part of the issue, but I am thinking the pipe and header played a little bit more of a part in the equation. So the question? 9901/021 2096/021 or the 2058 (werks/Sirio/Orion) I told him I'd ask the man, and here I are. |

I hear ya. It wasn't until after the main it all made sence. I really though at the time it was a flame out, rare that my engine does that, but wasn't out of the question. Once me and my pit guy were talking after the main, I knew exactly what happened. Darn air bubble. LOL.

I pulled 11:30 on my plus 4 with a 2058, and pulled 12+ with the 2096/021 with fuel left only in the lines/filter (tank pretty much dry) These were back to back runs with only a slight retune between. The 2096 with the softer bottom end allows the buggy to hook up better coming out of dead stops or slow corners, but the mid range and top end are very very strong. |

While I'm not Monty, nor do I claim to have his expansive knowledge of pipes and engines I can answer from expierence. You best mileage pipes from that list are
1.) 2096/021 2.) 2058 3. 9901/021 The 2096 is slightly softer on the bottom end then the 2058 but has a slight advantage on the top end. From what you're saying it's as good in the buggy as it is in the truck. Wasn't too sure about the 2058 setup, but I think my bro can score that one pretty cheap. It also seems to be one of the more reccomended non Noverossi pipe and header set ups that people put out there. 9901/021 was the go to setup for a buggy, or so I thought. Is that not so much anymore? Monty? A lil help sir when you have some free time, well, time. |

I only ran the 2058 for the longest time, Monty told me how good the 2096 was and I tried it, it is a bit soft on the bottom but not too soft, I don't have a 2058 on any of my cars now :nod: I even out run the 2090 and 2060 os pipes with it on the os engine  My Werks also did better than a new werks with the 2058:nod: I haven't really checked mileage but it is a much better feeling pipe. In Vietnam it is hard to get traction and with the 2058 I had to be careful when I would get on the throttle or if it got bumpy as I might spin out, I still have to worry about the bumps but not so much the hard pulls anymore with the 2096 which has helped me tons. Another decent pipe is the Hong Nor (yeah I know) 2080 It seems close to the 2096
Contact made bro 2096ss/41021. Rocks |

Doing okay, Just trying to get some things together for the Silverstate Race, and looking forward to get over to Fearfarm next Saturday for some night time club racing, starting next week, haven't ran any Nitro, since the DNC race, so I'm ready to burn some Nitro!
