Not sure if its efra legal though EFRA muffler homologation list 2012 |
so 2096ss is the best from them?but it is not closer in dimensions with jp1?

What engine do you have Gregory?
I like 9901 pipe better than 2096 (similar to RB2045). There is more grunt in the 9901. If you look at the best Novarossi drivers around the World, they always runs 9901 as far as I have read. |
2096ss hasnt been played with much by the fast boys i bet ;)

Hehe. They better start listen to you
many times racers try pipes and dont tune the engine in , you cant actually feel the power curve and test the fuel consumption without tuning the engine in , sooooooo......... i actually RACE rc cars Bjarne , and very well  i dont just PLAY/BASH with rc cars like some do :sneaky: |

last years nitro challenge i asked adam if he tried the 2096 pipe and he said no , i was a lil surprised to say the least , the pipe is great , you gotta lean on the hsn more than usual so it can be misleading on how the pipe performs ;)

The bottom is softer with the 2096 compared to the 9901. |
i just write what i feel at the time Bjarne , if its confusing im sorry bro
the 2096ss is a very well balanced pipe , i like its performance as an overall pkg better than the 9901ss on many engines but some engines really are more suited to the 9901ss' power delivery as well as some drivers much prefer the 9901ss they are both great pipes with different characteristics that each driver needs to feel for themselves to see how they like each |
The 2096 really brings a nova based motor to life in my opinion. I have a 9901 and the 2096. The 2096 really smooths out the bottom end and by doing so gave better acceleration because of reduced wheel spin. The mid range was super smooth, almost deceiving, because it has a lot of power. It also alot of milage to the motor, and the top end was definatly improved. IMO the 9901 just felt flat on the top end to me yet very punchy. On a small high traction track I might run the 9901 again, but for my local track that is on the medium size with traction that can go from grooved up to marbles the 2096 stays on my buggy. if you clutch it right the 2096 can also go from mild to wild on the bottom end too.
