Thanks Monty. went to clean up my 9901 and noticed a couple of small dents in the bottom and might switch to my 2058 for this weekend if I can't get them pop out. The dents arn't bad and I am giving it the Anti-freeze bath right now to clean up the inside. try it out and see if it works.

Just got my nova back Monty, thanks again!

beidle99 06-07-2012 04:20 PM

New Glow Plug .... check
New Gas tank .... Check
Freshly cleaned anti freeze bathed 9901 and header ....check

all this equals a perfectly tuned, super smooth, perfect idle at every stop, HES btt.

Just ran 2 tanks back to back through the buggy out on the street and it was perfect down to the bottom of 2 tanks. 11:30 minutes on the street per tank with the 7.5 mm

Monty, this motor seems to want to be at 4.75 turns from bottom on the LSN. Seems that any leaner it will falter and sputter and stall. Started at 4.5 and had to go fatter to get it to run. I'm happy with the 4.75 since its uber consistent. Its going to be a good weekend at the track (knock on wood) :D:D:D:D:D

LoL. Tell me guys, does the X7 match well with a buggy. Used to use a Plus4 and it was great. Right now using the BTT....it's good and all but not quite what I'm after. I use the Xtreme Tuned X7 in truggy and find it to be spectacular for me.

Would like to hear experiences...and Monty's opinion.

Hi Monty.

Hi Monty.

if you like a massive amounts of power in the buggy the X7 w/2096ss/41021 or 41005 works :D

Would you reccomend the plus4 team c motor or the 4btt in an xb9? I would prefer more bottom end than my os v spec with the same top end or more would be ok. More than anything I want a super crisp and smooth motor. Also what pipe would you reccomend for the nova motors?
