Jamie - Monty Houston offers a few services which will significantly improve the performance of the already nice Fusion X3R engines. On here, we joke and call it the 'Full Monty' version. I only race truggy, but if I raced buggy, I have no doubt there would be an X3R 'FM' in my buggy. I have the 'FM' treatment on my P5XLT and it runs nothing like a stock P5, completely different animal.

Monty - introduce yourself to Jamie, he was inquiring about the Nitrotec N21 in the Novarossi thread. I directed him over to your thread and specifically mentioned the X3R with some of your 'enhancements' might be in the ballpark as the street price of a stock Nitrotec N21.

just lmk what you need Jamie

I will do my best to help ya out , february is bizzzzzzy for me , holy smokes!

I will say the n21r nitrotec is a great engine , packed with features for sure

The x3 has something that no other 3 port on the market has , the 8port block , it makes a very big difference in performance

Dont listen to me in order to make your engine choice , listen to the happy "houston" family of racers that have purchased products or have used my services

Thanks a bunch guys,
Monty

Monty,

Got the package. Super stoked to get that thing. Can't wait to see what the new and more powerful XLT has. Probably won't get any run time on it before the NC. I only have to beat two guys that are coming down there with me. Both of them have those moster X7's. If my driving doesn't get it done and I need more motor, you might just be way light in your K Truck. LOL.

Either way, I'm sure the engine will be good. Me, on the other hand maybe not so much. Be fun all the same.

Monty ain't kidding about being Bizzzzzzzy.

Talked to him before he was about to head out for the Cabin Fever race and man he's been swamped with engine orders. Guess everyone is finally catching on and wants to keep Monty working. LOL. Maybe people that will be racing against him soon are just trying to keep him too busy to have his own stuff ready to race. Gotta get that win somehow.

Thanks again there Guru.

hey Monty,
Any reviews on the new .25 truggy engine? My only concern is getting 10mins plus runtime.

im looking to get a new one for me truggy and was contemplating between the new Bonito .21-7XLB and Roma .25 engine.

maybe you can hook me up again like you did with the P5. loving it by the way.

Also whats the difference between the new and the old bonito?

thanks

Great to hear your engine is still runnin like a champ!

The "new" bonito just replaces the ceramic rear with steel
The Roma is new and not realeased yet so no reviews just yet

And great job Ali! (KWT-NITRO)

double win
