did it start at all ?

is your competition heat warmer getting to at least 160° at the head? , if so then loosen the plug (i dont recommend you should have to loosen the plug normally but sometimes)
is your starter box lined up well and strong enough ?
are you priming the fuel system ?

give it another go and if you cant get it , call me , pm me and i will send you my number

The only times started it was because I was opening the throttle but it woud die after few seconds and the flywheel will be stock afterwards.

Yes, it reached 160 degree at the head.
Yes, starter box lined up and strong enough. I thought about this so I put new fresh of batteries but it was the same.
Yes, I blew up on the pressure line to get rid off any bubbles on the line. Is this correct?

Thxs

sounds like you are aiming in the right direction

one thing , do not be afraid to lean needles during break in to get engine to run and do not be afraid to rev engine up a little to keep it running ;)

compression cylinder is filled with too much oil , new sleeves are usuallyt pretty tight , loosen the glow plug if you must but i guarantee if you get it started and keep it running with throttle (do not "blip"the throttle) all will be good , literally have broke in hundreds of engine , might be approaching the 4 digits ;)

Said it before, but I need to say it again:
The Novarossi P5XL HES is THE best engine a hobby/sport driver can ever ask for!

Muggydude 04-20-2011 02:33 PM

Hey Monty, what engine and pipe would you reccomend for truggy? We do have some pretty decent sized tracks out here.
