are you pushing it on by hand ? or in the flywheel. just push it on all the way until it touches the bearing, with the taper facing out by hand, it will fit.

I think I discovered the problem. My engine guy had already put the nova collet on the shaft and I was rying to put the losi collet over it..!!! sorry I'm new to this. I took the nova collet off and it shoudl work now. Unfortunately, I have to wait until my new set of collets come in.

They are http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...Collet-Spacers I believe...

Thanks again you guys!!!

yes all novarossi engines come with that "standard" collet installed , losi is about the only "odd" one in that department .

hope you get it all dialed and just some advice , if you are having that much trouble with the collet you should probably seek help with engine run in ;) not dissing ya , just would like to see you have an enjoyable time with your nitro engine

which pipe?

Monty,
I have one of your mod P5's and I wanted some advise on pipes for it. I am not not looking for run time just max power. I have a 2084/41021 or a msr 1005 and header. I have a nice new body and don't want a big cut out if I change pipes. Your advise is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Tony.

well the 2084ss/41021 will have great power , excellent mileage while still maintaining a driveability factor , the msr 1005 used to make phenomenal power on the older p5 engines but the new engines have some pretty major timing changes that i am not sure if that pipe will still work goof on or not Tony . i know that the novarossi pipe rocks  i would personally mount up the 2084ss/41021 :D
