thanks for the reply! i know there are thousands of different variables and to get a real answer you would have to take a look at it, but i appreciate the insight and wont hold you to anything. there are likely no fewer than 6 gallons through the engine, and the top of the piston and sleeve walls look clean which leads me to believe there is no grime or dirt in there. i have just never really felt the notch before, but honestly dont think it is something that i have ever checked for in the past either.
once rod slop develops it gains slop exponentially ,meaning once there is a lil gap it just keeps hammering away even worse ;) check your crank pin , if it is anything under 4.92mm its almost done good job on the maintenance  |
Hi Monty
I have an opportunity to purchase an Adam Drake Picco 2046 pipe set for a “deal”; Brand new still in the box. Would you recommend running on the 21 4C? I am trying to add some top end. I now the Dynamite 086 is a good, but with the price on the 2046, it is hard not to give it consideration if it will work. I am currently running the 9901 and 41021 pipe set. |
Hey Monty, I can't wait to get my new engine from you. I hope it's what my Losi truggy needs! I only have a 41021 header and 9853 & 9901 pipes. Will I be able to get 10+ min pitting at a medium/small track?
Thanks again! |
