Default HT FMS

OK guys had a chance to run my HT FMS at the track last weekend.. just for about 30min to 45min... this was right after break in and i was taking it easy... with the stock HB clutch in the buggy all i can say this thing screams... was not able to get the top end performance down the stretch because it was just a lil to early to stretch it out.. on the in field it was great and so far its worth it... love the motor.. my first HT and its great.... gonna put more fuel through it this weekend... maybe try a different pipe// i was running 9901 and the 41001 header.. good combo so far...

Have you messed with the Nova P3XS? if so, how is it? I've heard it's a 3 port version of the P5 but I have a feeling it's probably the N21R.

I asked Jim Hottinger at Hotmods about it and he said N21R was better and cheaper. Get a Houston tuned N21R or a Hotmod N21R instead of the P3XS.

The p3xs is a very good engine , its what you get if you put a 15009 crank out of a p5xlt with a n21r p/s set , older p5xl/t block , not sure on the front bearing , pretty sure its not the 17011 , not sure on the carb either , I imagine it has the short needle carb which is wayyyyyy easier to tune

Well since the shake up with the Fusion/Serpent deal, will you be sticking with nova or will there be some different options down the pike? Just probing. You no doubt have been the most user friendly customer service oriented guy for the nova crowd. I still have 2 nova based engines, the RB and the JP you gave me the props for. If they weren't so ridiculously expensive to rebuild i would try a toro team. Thinking abt that max power 8 port. Love the JP 8 port. Enjoyed the fms project while it lasted. That was our fault the rod broke, another story. Keep up the good work Monty and happy motorin'.

well there are a few things left undiscussed for a reason at this time Rob

i wish to continue supporting novarossi and believe i have done a fairly decent job in my efforts doing so but have not receieved any response on my distributor request from desoto racing who is the actual importer not serpent .

happy motorin',
