As with anything you do mechanically , you should have the proper tools ;)

Why they use flathead ,that is a query for novarossi :)

I would venture to guess it has to do with not applying too much torque and warping the engineblock :D

Just how much torque do you put on the head and back plate?

in a in/lbs. number i couldnt tell ya but i will say that they do not need to be reefed down any tighter than lets say........ maybe your clutch bell bolt? not the flywheel nut ;)

Have you run the 2084 on a +4 yet looking for best overall pipe with good bottom and top and run time what do you suggest? Thanks

depends if you are trying to use the engine for truck or buggy ;)

i have been finding 9901ss/41005 working AWESOME for buggy , 9886/41021 or dynamite 086hs has more power but lacks in the mileage dept.
and 9853ss or 2084ss/41021 for truggy , 41005 is another great truck tuning option to have in your box

manson98 05-01-2010 09:06 AM

Yes this is for buggy what kind of run time do you get with 086? I didn't know the 2084 was for truggy thanks

The 2084ss isn't only for truggy but it has a lot of low end and that creates wheel spin which in turn makes your car a little harder to drive ;)

The 9886/41021 combo or dyn 086hs would be pretty hard to bank on a 10min runtime whereas the 9901ss/41005 is a pretty easy 10min runtime pipeset . Not always but if you do everything right you can get it . The 86 pipes sure sound badass though

manson98 05-01-2010 05:17 PM

Thanks very much. I will be getting a 086 then.
