Monty, have you tried out the 2084 pipe yet on your truggy?
no joke , the pipes works very well on the truck , easily as good as the 9853ss , runtime was a little better , between 30-60 sec. |
What Odonnell glow plug is similar to a c5g standard plug?

Hello
Hello Monty. I'm sure you know by now I run the p5xls engine and I have a question for you please. I usually run the 9853ss pipe with the short round header on my buggy, but I just had to try the new 2084ss pipe. I just put it on and I wondered what opinions you have about it in a buggy, same short round header. I am trying to improve runtime on that thirsty p5. I put a 7.5mm restrictor on the carb, didn't want to go too small the p5 likes to breathe, ok gave away my 7mm one, and my 808 had the old tank that was a bit smaller and I was pitting at 7 minutes, I remember getting more runtime on my old p5's, but I am driving harder these days, and I live at sea level, doesn't help a bit, so I put the newer tank on it to get more runtime and the pipe. Any opinions would be nice, thanks....
And about the ratteling bearings, never had that happen on a Novarossi, but a friend gave me an Odonnell to try out that was really pretty new and I tested it out in the street and the second tank I came in to check the idle and it rattled like crazy, Everytime I try another brand just to do it, the dang things are, well, not worth a you know what.... |
Hi guys, I've got a serious problem, My P4 has been sitting in a box since early february, i used after run in it before i stored it and the engine only had about three gallons on it yesterday i put everything back together but the engine is just not working properly, I had to crank down the needles in order to get it to iddle somewhat properly (even then it would keep cutting out as if it were too rich:weird:)
When i would accelerate it would rev clean and then cut out i assumed the engine had some gunk from the ARO in it so i took it apart cleaned it and removed one copper shim it seemed to work fine for like one tank and then it started stalling again... I tried another engine and it had the same problems!!!:weird: My only common denominator is the fuel which i've had since September i'm running the last gallon of a 4 gallon box... Please help, cause i'm stomped... |

I would try some fresh fuel. Where was the fuel kept? Its 8 months old it may be bad.
