Get some Associated Green Slime O-ring grease and lube the o-rings up with that. Works great for shock o-rings too (that's what it's intended for).

I have tried Slime on carb needles and found that the needles liked to turn due to the vibration. Maybe it just happened to me.

Stuff did its job too well I guess. Maybe just use a tiny amount. It's worked for me...

what do you guys have as far as needle setting on a ws7III with %30byrons and a hot plug? I went to go buy a new #6 meduim plug for a race this last weekend, and the shop didn't have any so I got a mccoy59, I could not get the damn thing to run, and ended up getting frustrated and messing up my settings trying to figure it out.

I've got a brand new in box RB Concept C6-BBT II L2G that I'd be willing to sell for $380 shipped if someone wants to jump on it before it goes to Ebay......

I just found this thread, I just bought another C6 this morning, it sucks to be slow, it will be another month before I can fork out for another engine, I wouldnt trade that C6 for nothing, all the tracks in the state for the most part are tight and the bottom end of the C6 you can just hug the pipe at almost a stop and blip the throttle and your over the next big jump. That engine dropped me 4 sec a lap at my local track from the V-Spec I was running.

S5 is a strong engine with a good amount of top w/ 2045 192 set-up.
After one gallon put new front bearing and rod and you will be happy. I run it in a buggy at nitro challenge and it would easily keep up with just about everything except my C6

You can use any turbo plug in the C6, the MC9, I think is a cold plug, depending on where you are, ( cold country and cold plug don't do well) unless you just need that challenge, the RB 6 turbo plug works well.

Mine uses a std plug. It's the old head not the L2G. Plug definately has the copper washer on it.

If your in Baltimore, and the weather as cold as it is, it's best to go with a hotter plug, the MC59 will be okay, it's hotter than the MC9, and the RB 6, you could even use an RB 4, it's just a lot easier to run with the hotter plug in the colder weather.

I own a RB S7 standard plug which I use a RB#6 plug in and im using the same plug that it was broke in on and I have been thru 1 1/2 gallons so far and can not complain at all and not changer a plug!! I have had people tell me that motor screams im also using a JP3 pipe. And im getting 8 1/2-9min on a tank and temps running 220 or so, and this is not a modded motor either!! But the one thing I will say that my LHS can not get parts for them or at least plugs, I know the RB#6 plug at amainhobbies.com have been on back order along with alot of other hobby shops and the only place i have found them was towerhobbies.com.

I don't think I will own a diffrent motor for a while, But i have been looking on Ebay for a turbo head for tunnning reasons I have heard they are a little eiser to tune...
