So Chris being in Colorado and I'm from Colorado, Denver area, and not finding the 2045 pipe setup in the budget, would you suggest the next best choice is the RE10? This is for the Killer 10. Is the 086 pipe a choice also? Or which of the 2 would you go with? Also what glow plug are you recommending? I'll be running 30% Byrons fuel. Any help greatly appreciated, Thanks.

PIPE
How about the JP-1? Already have one of those. Or do i need to step to the JP-3?

WS7II
Any one got tuning tips? Running a WS7II with TNT Mods, Axe Rossi 2050 pipe and Byrons 30%. Any info will help.

The biggest thing I can suggest is possibly changing the gearing on the car. The WS7 is a top end motor and will feel like it lacks bottom end in many applications. I have used a stock WS7 and it was great but I changed the gearing from a 48 tooth spur to a 50 tooth as the two teeth on the spur is less dramatic than one tooth on the CB. Other than that just tune the engine like normal, make sure it sings real good down the straight away, then tune the LSN so the car accelerates real well and can sit and idle for 3 or 4 seconds without loading up. |

The only standard OS plug that is the same is the LC3 Hot plug. OS plugs are short body plugs, they will work but you might be chasing the tune all day long. If you can't get RB or Novarossi plugs get an odonnell or a mccoy and you will be fine.
Now i might be able to get a tune from it. |

Just letting you know those RB plugs just came in from A main and yes i can see what you were saying about being longer in the body..

Hello engine gurus - I need some help
I have a new (1.5 gallons) Killer 9 and I can't get it tuned, I have tried everything. It will not idle properly, it always sounds too rich on the bottem (revs real high then drops off). I can lean it out on the bottem to get it to idle better but then it starts to lean bog on acceleration this is usually at 1 to 1.5 turns out. I tried backing everything to factory settings and starting over but then it is so rich it will not even start. I am running a novarossi 5 plug and 25% byrons and I am at my witts end. I figure it is probably a carb defect but wanted to know if anyone else had any ideas. |

Word of advice the rubber o ring on the carb take that off and put on http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...or-Base-O-Ring That will help alot that stock o ring is terrible and not novarossi - rb quality. My K9 runs like a bat out of hell with a little over a gallon
really thanks is that the reason why its doing that ? il try out that o-ring |

I had the same problem. I usually run the B10 -B9 more expensive engines and was getting real :flaming: Soon as I changed that o ring it ran like a champ. I also use 97t odonnell plug
i knew something was wrong , i never had a problem with my nova .21 bf with tuning the low end even at a half gallon or more. i do have some nova carb o-rings will they fit ? does the stock ones on the rb swell up or something. |
