Old motor / Need parts

Good day folks.

I have a question.

Does anyone out there know what bearings are in the RB Concept

Worlds S7 (The original with the soup can head)??

I have a brand new motor with new piston/sleeve/connecting rod as backup

and I have another one that needs bearings. Can anyone help me out with

the size??

Thanks

Ace Hardware/Hobbies is no longer in business. Sigma was the distributor back then. JR was the owner and Kevin worked there for years, the store closed down and Kevin was doing some customer support stuff for RB here in the US but he has recently gone back to school. Like posted above RB USA is now located in Cooleyville, Tx. Check the site and shoot them an email, Brian will get you all squared away.

Shark.9

I have a Shark.9, #232 out of 400. I got it for my TRF801Xt because I heard it was very fast... Haven't used it yet! My 801's not even done. I hope it's fast when I break it in and use it :)

I run the Shark in my buggy and it is great, I have never tried it in a truggy tho. I know the kit comes with the 192 header so you might want to pick up the 198 header to give you the extra bottom end you want in a truck. Make sure you give it a good gallon before you start leaning it out too much.

The WS7 is a top end motor and will feel like it lacks bottom end in many applications.
Nothing could be further from the truth....someone needs to learn pipes...

Hey Chris, What motor is replacing the ws9. I seen its being discontinued.

Thanks

LOL Umm OK, great input!!!!

Did Novarossi/RB stopped making the WS7 or any other short stroke engines because they produced too much bottom end power??

Yes the WS series engines, the S5's, S7's, and S3's were all short stroke engines that are no longer produced. The engine that might closest resemble the power the WS9 made might be the Rally10 or the Cross10. The Cross10 was the engine they brought in to replace all the square stroke engines. The Rally10 is not designed for buggy but I have heard that they work great so I have one I broke in last weekend I will be trying out soon.

New Stuff

Hi. Has anyone run the Cross 10 motor from RB and will there be
a Shark 10?? :sneaky:

If so, how it?? :D

BTW Thank for the Bearing size info.

Note to Chris

Hey Chris

No one, do you know what happened to JR?

2. Man, I sure miss that hobby store. What a business.

I don't ever think I have seen 100 motors come to a business that morning and

by that afternoon, they were all sold.

JR is one hell of a guy as well.

I use to go 80 miles round trip just to hang out in the shop.

That was back in the days of the Mugen Super Athelete and before

the Serpent 710 came out..

Those were the days.. :ha::ha::ha:
