Hmmmm, what kind of mod do you do to them? Is it mostly porting on the sleeve? do you also open up the timing on the crank? I run at elevations between 5000-6500 feet and have seen a lot of people really struggle with modded motors around here.

Since this is going to be a test/play motor when I get it I just might have to send it your way.

I alter sleeve timing, port shape, crank timing, case volume as well button volume...and I also do some minor flow mods on the sleeve..but for the most part my work will be unseen to the untrained eye......Elevation wont be any issue providing we run the appropriate compression ratio and plug... The end result is when tuned correctly the engine is extremely powerful with a amazing top end and a relatively smooth trigger feel, definitely more bite then stock, but still extremely tractable...If your curious I would love to do one for you

OS Plugs will not work properly for you, they are a short body glow plugs and you need a long body plug. RB, Novarossi, McCoy, Odonnell will all work. If they don't have any of these brands take your plug to the hobby shop with you so you can make sure the plug you get matches. The threads on the OS plugs will be shorter if you hold them side by side.

Hey Don, it's still not mixed yet but it is supposed to be getting mixed in the next week or so. I know Brian wanted to release the fuel this month but it may get pushed to next month now. They are going to have a lot of fuel percentages including 40% and 45% which might be popular at Nats this year with the 6500 foot elevation. You loose a good 15-20% of your overall power from an engine just going from sea level to that elevation. This weekend is actually the season opener at the track hosting Nats if your lookin for a road trip

I ran a C6 USA last season. I also have an extra USA crank and button. My question is, what is hand modified on the crank from RB to make it USA specific?

The crank is modified where the opening is for the fuel to enter from the carb, that hole is opened WAY more than a stock C6. It is actually opened up a lot like an onroad crank. The turbo cuts on the face of the crank are also opened up some. The crank also has a tungsten weight in it and the crank pin is hard coated.

Between the crank and that button you have you can do like I am doing and making a B10 USA for truggy
