Anyone know what pitch of screw rb uses for their head bolts. I got an engine second hand and it was missing a screw. Rather replace all with new bolts. I picked up a 6/32 and it was coarse thread. Does it take a 6/32 fine thread.

And good things I'm getting. I running about 210 max so far, and this thing is good. Haven't really pinned it so I can't comment on top end, but it's got plenty of smooth bottom. Looking forward to a race tune.

Looks like I'll be racing an old classic this season, picked up a brand new s7 l2g for cheap. Always loved this engine, too bad they dont make it anymore. Anybody still race an s7?

Most engines use 3.5mm for the head.

I would like to know more about it, how can it be compared with an O.S Speed Spec II?
I know that the best is to use the recomended plugs but can it run, idle fine with an O.S P3 plug?

Hey guys.. I have a RB B10 I bought a couple of years ago. The engine gave me 13 gallons and still had compression. I sent it to get resized and the PSC got lost in the mail. Well... after a Nova 21-4, Odonnell POS, Dynamite V2, and a Gotech GT5, I decided to get a new psc for the B10. Nothing compares to good reliability for me. I lost the 2045 pipe and manifold though and I'm wondering if a dynamite 053 tuned pipe will work well with an RB B10? I don't really want to buy another 2045...

I have always used the NO6 plugs with mine, nice wide tuning window.

As far as runtime, over 10mins is easily achievable, have seen as high as 12-13, but this is driving with a more careful throttle finger. Bearing mind this is UK/European Tracks.

I have not run a xzb spec 2, but have run a bullitt 216 and vzb speed. Compared to the 216, the BXR had a much stronger but more linear bottom end, found the 216 to have very little bottom, then all of a sudden, bham, power.

We run the BXR's and a good friend of ours runs the OS Speeds. There would be very little difference in the top end maybe a slight advantage to the RB and the OS would have a slight edge down low.

The OS P3 will run in just about anything and would certianly work on the BXR. But as already mentioned we have had the best results with RB 6 plug and on really hot days over 30 degrees we use the RB 7 plug but the tuning window narrows up on the No7 plug

BTW we can't get any where near a 10min run time in a buggy... about 8 to 8.30 is it for us

Thank you both, now i run a LRP zz.21c so thats why i ask to compare the BXR with the Speed.
We always run around 22-27Cº so i guess the RB#5 plug would also work fine, does someone uses the #5B?

Also what about using the BXR with a werks 2058 pipe?

No real need for the No5 plug, No6 copes fine in the conditions you mentioned.

Currently running the 2097 pipe which gives better economy and strangely, more power and better bottom end than the 2045. AFAIK, the 2097 is very similar to the Novarossi 9901.
