The Reedy ceramic is a little pricey but is a great quality bearing. I have noticed immediate and obvious power gains as soon as running the VR with a ceramic swap.

I can't gaurentee the proper fit of a Boca or TKO but here is a Boca link, looks like their ceramics are about $45 for the good one. In the past a couple guys tried to use the TKO but the fit wasn't correct on the OD. The deminsions are 14x25x6.

Not sure if the bearing you get is the one pictured, but the Reedy bearing is made up of many more ceramic balls of a smaller size, and the Boca appears to be fewer and larger balls. The Reedy bearing is unique, and I'm sure this was engineered this way for a reason.

We shipped a very small quantity but the regular shipment is due next week and will be shipped to distributors beginning on or around January 3rd.

Hey Guys
I got the Reedy Reedy 121 VR .21
New last fall Just did the break in with Cold Fusion 30% And wanted to see what the better fuel to run in this motor thanks guys

deftones4012 01-01-2011 11:01 AM

ive had luck with sidewinder %30. motor tunes easy and performs great.

Chris Reilly 01-01-2011 11:15 AM

Cold Fusion should be fine. I personally use Odonnell 30%. My Reedy VR is still in the box.

Klink 01-01-2011 12:02 PM

Any one Try Running S&W 30% Trophy blend :tire: what Glow plugs are best :tire: what temps have you guys been finding it runs around:tire: sorry this is my 2nd year racing thanks for the help :weird::o

Chris Reilly 01-01-2011 06:45 PM

Some like the Odonnell 97T. I'm not sure about the Reedy glow plugs as to there heat ranges. It looks like the RT3 is the hotter plug of the two they make. I would expect the RT3 to be run most of the time.
