Did you disassemble your engine when you took it from your truggy to install it into your buggy? I had similar issues because my piston was not correctly installed.

No just swapped motor.another post has similar problems and could be bad fuel but I am using my fuel in to cars and one runs fine

OS I just picked up a new 121VR-ST. I am running the 121VR today and after break-in I will use the ST for racing. Can anyone list the impact of the improvements of the ST on performance? Fuel economy? Etc?

It's got way more top end. And Fuel Eco is better.

It runs with the big boys.

Anyone send their Reedy motors back for warranty repairs? Did they send you a new one?

HOW MANY GALLONS ON A ST

Just got one of these STs. And was wondering how many gallons you guys are putting on em? Before it needs a rebuild/replacement.

SO should I get the 2039 pipe? It sounds like the ST engine should run better with it.

How well would the os 2050 pipe work on a vr in a truggy?

NIB: ST for $215 shipped

Just picked up a Speed. Before I had a chance to fire it up. So mine is for sale if any of yall are looking for one. I posted pics in the for sale thread.

EDIT: after this weekend watching Brandon Melton hauling ass with this motor. Against some locals like Lopez and Pettit.LOL It has got me rethinking selling it.

Definitely worth it.

I have a 121VR and a 121VR-ST and the ST is very strong and very stable. Tuning is not too difficult. It has decent torque throughout the range. I am running the Reedy 2035 pipe right now which is a good balance of low end and top end.

I have heard that the 2039 can really make the ST shine. I hope to test that out at some time. What the 2039 pipe can do is reduce low end torque for low traction tracks and give you more top end speed.
