Anyone send their Reedy motors back for warranty repairs? Did they send you a new one?

I blew the conrod in mine and sent it in to Reedy and they replaced all of the internals as there was nothing wrong with the case or the head. They also replaced the backplate, plug button and the bearings. The only parts of my 121vr that were original were the head and the case. They were awesome and fast, 1 week turn around to get it back to me here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They didn't send me a brand new one but they may as well have.

My temps run between 270-280 degrees Fahrenheit after break in and tuned.

Is this the same engine that comes with the RC8.2 RTR? If so, anyone know where i can get a backplate? Gotta get rid of the pull start.:tire:

But Tower Hobbies might have a back plate for your motor.

97T for sure. I've been running those in m Reedy's for 2 years, works great.
