Hello all..... not new in RC but kinda new in this HUGE Forum... hehe!

I just got my Extech .24 EBM Tuned... and I have been reading this Thread since last night.... so far... most are POSITIVE.... and I have a few questions....

Earlier I was choosing the pipe to buy.... and alot have been looking for the BIGBOY Pipe.... other than that, the 086 or the 053.... and alot are ordering the BIGBOY Pipe.... but I have not read any feedback on how the Bigboy really performs with the Extech .24 i heard that it's an all around pipe? any one? I just ordered one on amain and it will get to my door on tuesday....

Also, how good is the Odonnell 97T plug as it's fairly cheap compared to the rest of the choices....

Your inputs will be very much appreciated.

THANK YOU!

man, I gave you about as much info as i can on this combo. I even posted a video of it running. The big boy seems to smooth out the powerband. It helps to have a motor w/ a strong bottom end to begin with I would say. I assume you got the FM not EBM 24 since the EB's they aren't supposed to be
in circulation anymore. look at the video and judge for yourself. I was running with some 28's, 26's, a Spec Speed ED something and even an electric truggy. Mine felt faster than all of them. Hell I jumped on top of an ST-RR with a 28 in the beginning cause I thought he would have more snap than me. to top it off the only one that didn't pit was a VSpec and me and it wasn't as strong as my FM 24. I could pull away at will, but was trying to conserve fuel at the end.

the only issue was a leaky carb boot, but I put some Luck7 on it, replaced the boot and don't have any further issues.

as far as the ODO97t plugs they are extremely reliable for me. I switch them out after 1.5 gallons or so. running the break in plug in the video. call it a good deal on Amain cause my LHS sells them for $8-9 ea...I'm snatching a few more as we speak.

Sorry, Idle stop, not mixture, if you djust your idle set while the barrel is back you can marr the barrel and cause a burr. The factory Kyosho guys up here in Oregon had trouble with their sirio's like that, just make sure the barrel isn't resting at idle when you turn your idle stop in (clockwise) and you'll be fine
