Cool.

I finaly got a decent pipe on my .24 pre run. Running an 086 with the short V header with a p4 plug.

It's about 50 degrees outside and it ran for about 10.5 minutes @ 185 degrees. I assume that is hot enough on the inside to burn up the oil???

That motor is insane. It revved up so quick and smooth... it scarred me like it might pop from the r's! I can only imagine what the full mod would be like!

So far I only have about 6 or 7 tanks in it. I got a big race next week to give it the test! I am sure it will pass.

yeh this would be my first sirio based motor ...but everyone i have seen run ...seemed to have an endless amount of top end ...planning on really running a 2053 grp on chads recommendation of the pipes i have ...im sure i will try the 053 and the 086 as i have both as well ....most of the tracks im running on are not very long straights ....so i dont need as much top end as i need bottom to mid transition .....mark smith at powerhouse finished me up and i had him mod it to lend itself better to the 2053 grp to try and smooth it out a little ...should get it back tomarrow ...but prolly wont run it for a bit ....still gotta have a few more tanks through the grp and replce the bearins in it ...then im gonna strap up the extech

im gonna use an odonell 97t ...others have said an os p4 work great as well

Teufel Racing 01-19-2009 06:40 PM

Yup,
The O.S. P4 works very well. In a pinch I have gotten a P3, Rossi 5 and 6 to work. Tried the 97T and didn't really like it so much, might work for you.

is any one using the jpe pipe with the .21 and if not waht pipes worke with the 21. thank you

franklucas 01-20-2009 03:19 PM

last year i ran the jp 4 and was told buy a guy who dyno'd these pipes on the engine that they are terrible for this engine. he told me to run the 2013 or if i was cheap the dynamite 086, but this was before the new trinity pipe came out so that is what i run now.

tom slick 50 01-20-2009 06:58 PM

thank you i will try one of the extech pipes
