Hello Guys,

I ordered the extech .21 eb mod pre-run.
Do this engine still need to break-in?

Thanks,

The engine will come "mostly" broken in. You will still have to run some fuel through it at a slightly rich setting for a few tanks. It won't truely loosen up until you have around a gallon through it.

No problem!

I don't think the JP pipes are the best match for that engine.
Try a Dynamite 053 or 086. They both work very very well with these engines and are priced right as well ;)
For plugs, try to stick with the Trinity plugs, either the 5 or the 6 depending on your conditions.
Enjoy! They are one of the best engines I have ever run.

Cool... Thanks

I never did try out the 086 b/c the Sirio 2013 you sold me was so good on the layout we ran couple weeks ago. Plus, I could hear my car on the track, LOL. Back straight had a big tabletop and the front he broke up with a chicane that led you into a bermed bowl turn that had a crossover jump on exit (you jumped the front straight you just came off of) and then a little mini table top. It was suweet, but I never topped out even with that pipe. Y'all need to come down here and race one weekend. Then we'll go here for dinner and adult beverages (although we went to Bone Daddy's this time, but very similar):

Click on locations, then Round Rock (that's the one near the track), then the gallery.

Hahahaha!! The 2013 is a monster on that engine and it sounds like no other!

I mentioned the other 2 pipes because he was looking for something a little more affordable ;)

That place looks great! I would love to head out that way sometime!

I used the Dynamite but the Nova Rossi should work well too.

Hey Chad, I got the motor today, thanks again for all your help. Ill be sure to let you know how she goes. Now if only I had somewhere to race! might have to head up to bumps and jumps just to try it out. :sneaky:

E.T came home!

Well, since we're on a roll... My E.T was on my doorstep today. Also, thx BIG for the extra head screws, will definitely come in handy. :D
What is the total thickness of the head shims, btw? I have the RP running on 30%. Thx :)

killa - you still have good compression but some scratches on the piston from dirt intake.. I ran it on the bench and was fine... just keep up on the airfilter

nitro - no problemo!

Got a few back there to be looked as well,
Chad has always took care of any question I have had. Couldn't be happier with Trinity/Chad or the motors.
