Read this whole thread Brad nothing needs to be justified...Go engines speak for themselves, as does Marks fuels....:tire::nod:

Anybody looking for heat gun for engines, look at Harbor Freight, they are like 9 bucks, will go, (as the box says) 1000 degrees, works great for heating up engines for break in or just fricken cold.

Glen bruegem is the best driver in SA!;)

Wow this has gotten a little out of hand, Genreaper Like I said I understand your point. What you said was not negative in my eyes at all, I hope you come back to this thread and offer up your opinion just like everyone is entitled to do.

260F is what i would consider a full race tune...i like to run there for massive power and the longer run times, but keep this in mind i only run my engine until the 3 to 4 gallon mark and then sell them and get another...

RC-BATT 01-29-2008 05:26 PM

GO-TECH mills are top notch, i cant beleive the quality you get with these engines for the price....

Awsome powerband, easy to tune, and of course reliable.

Well I started break-in today... WOW again! This thing is faster than my old motor at idle! hahaha The Go motor purs like a kitten at idle and after I heated it up to 170 with a HAIR DRYER it turned over pretty easy even though I have the $50 OFNA box which I highly recomend by the way. I know so far I will be coming back to go motors... I can't imagine one of these babies modded, but I do know that that is what I am getteing next. :sneaky: I just hope that the price doesn't get jacked up because that was the main reason I bought the 5-port.... its affordable! Go dealers and distributors don't get greedy! Oh and by the way I broke it in when it was dry but it started raining and all I had to do was richen it a lil... I thought oh no here comes trouble but not with Go motors!!!

sorry i didnt have time to read through the last 49 pages... but from people who have had experience with the GO 6port .28, have any of you ran an LRP Z.28 at all? im tossing up between the 2, to buy this week.. i was looking at the lrp but im being swayed to the Go...
price is irrelivent. what i use it for is in a lightning stadium pro truggy, basically just bashing, big jumps etc.. not overly into racing.
thanks.
