thercshack.com is carrying the go tech motors for anyone .... they are here in Central IL. And alot of the guys that run there are using them.

got ? for everyone have a go 5port standard/turbo buttons i ran it this weekend to make sure good for next weekend and the head was leaking around where the button was what can i do to fix it or do i need to try something else- there are 2 shims in it now thnx will g

Will G, the shims may be bad, Or the engine got over tightened on one side, that can happen even if you tighten in a criss cross pattern but don't get all 4 bolts snug first. If youhave any bends in the shims replace them, if not try retightening the head.

if you run an 053 pipe in the cold (like 10-20 degrees air temp) do you have to lean the motor out alot.
yesterday in joliet, il. track temps were like no more then 20 degrees. i didn't want to keep leaning my motor out alot. i was running a jp3 pipe before with awesome low end with great top end. temps for the motor were around 225 with very impressive power. as soon as i put the 053 pipe on, my high needed to be leaned out about 5 hours just to get anywhere near my motors sweet spot, but i still didn't like the power i was getting decided to put the jp3 back on and loved driving with my go motor again |
