There has always been GO haters and there always will be. Some people just can't help themselves and will never change.
I always try to laugh it off, and console myself with the thought that they will never know what good value they are missing out on. That normally puts a smile on my face, and I just leave them to their own ignorance. Some people you don't mind trying to help, but others are just a waste of someone elses O2.

Xmas Day pretty quite for me. My wife and I are both working shifts Xmas Day and Boxing Day, so not too much to get excited about here :)

Had a big BBQ lunch at the fire station for 16, so that was cool.
Maybe get out for a play at the track next week when I am off shift again.
Hope Santa did you all proud :D

which plug is best for the GX5R AND 7R? the T3 or the odonnal plug?

I like the os-p3,they last forever! I have the odonells also p-97. they work okay.

I find the 97T works better (lasts longer too) than the T-3 :D So I guess it just depends on fuel brand and ambient conditions etc.
I have been running 30% too which may well be the difference, as a cooler plug (97T) will generally work better with higher nitro content.
Either plug is a winner with those motors. I am told the GO T-6 cold plug is also good on these motors with 25% - 30%. I am getting a card of 5 to try out, so we will see how they compare.

ill go with the 97t plugs, also going to grab some 77t, i would get the T3 plugs but cant get them anywhere unless i want to wait a month or longer.

The 77Tīs are good to if you like a hotter plug. A lot of the guys used to run the OS-P3 like Matt, but the OS plugs just got too expensive down here (like NZ$22 each at one stage). We get a much better deal on the OīDonnells and they work great.

yea,I don't think I would pay 22.00 for an os plug either. But I run byrons 30% and the same plug all year. During the colder months I may put some oven mitt material around the bottom of the head to keep it warm.

I have had that too. Until you let some one borrow your engine because they blew a rod in there big name engine. What people don't understand or refuse to is that you need to take your time and break these engines in properly. I have seen so many times,7 tanks lean it out to race tune and wonder why your getting 3-4 gallons maybe out of it. I get incredible life out of my go tec's. Let them hate all they want, when you can blow by them or catch them down a straight thats saying something out of your 200.00 mill.

see how his losi air filter sets? away from the head. I run that setup on my 808 with the mg's or go=tec's. I feel that by taking the filter away from the hot head giving it coooleer air in creases my run times.
