Go-Tech Engines Thread
yeah we should have them stateside around march 1st. I'm told we're waiting until chinese new year is over, and then it's on. They dont want to launch a new product right before the holiday that most of Taiwan shuts down for most of the month of feb, while orders build up (again).

just a quick update fellas about my Go's, ran a trophy race yesterday with my GX5 powered Losi's and i was getting between 10:05 to 10:45 on fuel with a 6.5mm restrictor and i was pulling away from the "big named" power plants on the strights, got about 2 gallons on these mills and they are starting to come to life hard core. tune is holding soild through out the race day i think the most i moved my needles were 1/4 to 1/2 all day
Preheat the engine prior to starting it. Use the o'donnell 97t glow plug if it has a turbo head button. Break it in as per the instructions on the go engine website. For a 7 port use the dynamite 086 tuned pipe. It takes quite a while to break these engines in, be patient.
Is IT A GXR? OR A orange head generation 5 engine? Like the other gent stated pre heat!!!! for at least first gallon. I like os-p3 plug myself,if turbo and byrons 30%. also the 086 pipe mentioned is fantastic with that engine. If you have the gen 5 engine figure 2 gallons to break in,gxr 1 gallon. For where I'm at in northern ca. I set my needles as follows; lsn-1 turn in from flush,hsn1/2 turn in from flush. I usually take engine apart and clean, then lube, reseal with red atv sealant, start breaking it in!
