hey guys, quick question.
I have a line on a pretty good priced Go .21 5PT motor. My question is, I know this isnt the newest line of engines, but how are they? It would be going in a Jammin X1-CRT. Just looking for some feedback on that particular model. Its got a new rod and bearings in it. And for the price, I cant pass it up. Unless of course, its a dog.

Tune with the engine fully warmed up (5 minutes at race pace, minimum) and with 1/4 tank or less. It won't ever bog again.
So you are trying to sell your engine which you yourself are having issues with in the buy/sell section? Thats part of the reason many people won't touch used engines. Either fix it or dump it, imo, but don't sell it to an unsuspecting person, thats just dishonest unless you disclose the problem in the listing.

No i have 3 and don't have any problems tuning them or with their performance. No bog issues at all either. But to not disclose that in the listing seems to be abit shady if nothing else. I mean maybe it is a tuning issue, or maybe not. What if your bearings are shot or something else. It just seems to me that disclosing that info to a potential buyer only seems fair. But thats me.

LOL, no sweat off my back i don't own the company, haha. I do like the motors, but honestly it wouldn't affect me at all if you told people about your experience, i have nothing financial to gain from it either way. I will say one thing, the hsn is very touchy. On the other hand the lsn is not. Give it one more try tomorrow and see where you end up.
