No, the new needle i designed will be for the whole Go GX range and MG66 . They are retrofittable to gen 5 range as well. You can simply remove the original HSN needle and put the new one in . The MG and GX carb are the same except for LSN options . The MG carbs all come with long LSN needle. As previously stated once you set your LSN you rarely have to touch it again, you only have to do small changes on the HSN for day to day enviroment.
We are waiting on stock so keep an eye on the site. www.massivemods.com CHEERS MM Rex |

I checked the gen 5.5 high speed needle to the Gx needle, both were within 1/10 of a degree. Actually I got a little less angle on the Gx. I am not sure why the Gx seem to tune different, low speed looks to be the same as our Gen 5.5 also. I didn't tear apart the whole carb yet though.

Broken
I was racing this weekend. My truggy with a 5 port go tech, during the 1 st race the truggy rolled to a stop on the back straight? I walked back to the pits to find that I BROKEN another rod! This time it was bad the piston an sleeve bit the dust too!! When I got home I measured the crank, it was gone too! So I'll get RB MODS to help me out.

Not trying to point the finger, but it sounds like you may have a tuning or maintenance issue here if you keep breaking rods. |

Old motor
This was an old motor guys. I will rebuild it with new parts or buy a new gx 5.I bought the motor off eBay , it had about 4 gallons in it, then I put 3 more in it, I did some cutting on it myself. I never seen a rod break in half, it was a clean break.

Speaking of ebay. I've seen a couple of asia-based retailers on ebay, trying to undercut other dealers. The factory is working hart to shut them down and/or prohibit them from selling to the US, Mexico, or Venezuela. That said, any warranty claims to the Go Engine USA will need to go through an authorized Go Engine USA dealer, located in the US, Mexico, or Venezuela. If you purchased through an online retailer, we will need a receipt of purchase from an authorized Go Engine USA retailer. This includes ebay. Also, all GX engines sold through Go Engine USA have a serial number that starts with "US." MG-66 engines start with AUMG. |
when people buy off ebay most should relise that nothing will come warranty , anyway most go on ebay would be old ones floating around i have seen somke early models still selling at new prices and you could have the latest generation motor for almost the same price
