Hey Matt
That's rotten luck to hear what you've had with motors. For the truggy nationals i'll be taking over a go tech 5 port with lrp pipe, an os v-spec with a hong nor 2047 pipe and my os speed worlds with a 2060 in my truggy so if you do happen to run into strife, I can get you back up and racing. I'm actually hopefully going to be trying out the go tech this weekend in the buggy to see how it goes with the lrp pipe combo and a 6.5mm insert. Cheers Brendan |
How many head shims do i use with 30% fuel in the 5 port. 1 big silver one and how many brass ones?
Daryl |
i use 2 brass head shims under which in total is .2 just with the button is .3 i use 30 % to .. between .5-.6 mm squish ...
a few pages bach Mark from massive gave the run down on the clearance start flicking back through and you will see  |
thanks for the offer brendon :) , but i have a few motors to take with me to ..

Had a blast at the Roar Nationals, everyone was very friendly and good to talk to. The motors ran perfect all weekend, Kendall ran brand new 5 ports, the only mod was a shim under the sleeve for a smoother bottom and more top end and proper head shimming. Still had plenty of bottom end for the truggy, runtime was great on both too.
Kendall qualified 39th in buggy out of 200 and 44th in truggy out of around 150. That put him in the 1/4 mains in both classes, he bumped with Chad Bradley into the 1/2 final in truggy. There was all big names in the 1/2 main, ended up having a radio glitching and pulled off, the big jump was hard on stuff. http://neobuggy.smugmug.com/gallery/...27_tTBWi/Large Rex |

hey guys just so you know I have two Go-Tech .21 7port turbos that are up for sale. One has a like new piston sleeve and rod that has been broken in and checked and also has the updated coated crank and an rb carb. The other has a like new rod just replaced. Only thing is the one head has a fin that broke off. All I did was switch the head and you can use the other head for both motors or just use the other head. All it does is create a bit more heat but these motors never got about 260. You can buy both for 175. Just pm me if you would like them. Thanks alot
