Good idea Matt. It's amazing how the bits and pieces just build up over time.
I did the same thing when I decided to concentrate on racing off-road buggy, and upgraded to my current X-Ray 808.
I had been dabling in a bit of everything since I got into the nitro thing and had accumulated way too much stuff. Had a MASSIVE clean out on our local equivalent of E-Bay. It amazing how much money you have tied up in stuff that just sitting around

Yeah i would like to try it out. I will be swamped this week at the trophy race though because I will be debuting my ED8 and have tons of work on that to do. Who knows i may get a chance definetly though i want to try it. Yes the black non stick 1 is awesome. Oh and DUH I really didnt see the 2053 LOL.

I sure would like one, but being realistic I think my dollars would be better spent on new tyres for race days and fuel for more practice. You know what they say - ¨The more you practice, the luckier you get¨

I am also in the process of buying a nice 2nd hand Serpent 960 1/8 on-road for some fun thrashing (these things will scare the pants off ya
).Ahh - so many toys out there and never enough cash

However, should one of my motors turn it´s toes up .............

i hear ya Grizz,
you gotta sometimes evaluate your priorities between the "real world" and the "rc world"......
i was recently in the same boat as to whether to buy the rc8b or keep running the rc8 and also get a Nova Plus4 but when i stopped and thought about it i realised what i was running now was still just as competitive at my level!
and the 5 port keeps pace anyway.

If I do need more power I can just go up from the 6.5 restrictor and change to 7000 oil in the centre diff.
The majority of the very fast drivers at my track don't run anything super special. They just drive smooth, with great lines - lap, after lap, after lap.
If the funds where endless, and everything else in the world was in place, the MG66 would be on back order from Massive already, along with a few other bits and pieces
It is one sweet motor for sure, and I believe it may well be the catylist that takes the GO brand to a higher level in the micro motor market place. If your in the market for a new motor, or fate has left you motor-less (eh Giz), then grab one for sure

Yeh I'm with mark..Visited the real world recently and it ate my 7 port..So back here in fantasy land consider my MG66 ordered..I guess the payment will have to come from the real world but you can't have everything ..right..well maybe not but I'm sure as hell gonna try..As my next race isn't till 3rd september I have all summer to run it in and play around with the buggy settings..might even get my trigger finger to bend by then...
HA! finger pic added..get a load of that!
