That is what mine were when I got them in. So they must be the new ones.

Thats what I was thinking, I called Russel at race factor the other day and asked him and thats what he said also. I just didnt want to get on here and sound like a fool saying I had a Spec with the coral head. But I guess I do. I will be getting the 5 and 7 port soon also. They will be Brake modded like the 3 port.

to tell, take the back plate off, if the crank has a long cut on the left side it is the new 3 port, and the carb will be all black, and the end of it will be alum color

The New Gen 5 Go engines have

New balanced / designed crank
New Heat Sink / material fins cracking issue has been addressed
New Carb design
5 and 7 port now come with Turbo HB
Crank case ribbing changed in shulnre port
Deeper angle cut in crank case in front of bearing
Knife edge rod

Thats about it ... oh yes the exhaust porting is now matched at the factory !

I'm currently using Sh(LRP) glow plugs 7# med-cold.
I want to move back to O.S. plugs but i think i'll go with the P6 or P7.
Has anybody used these two or only P3s are used on the GOs?

The OS P3 is the plug of choice here. The Go Tech engines really seem to like this plug. I have been using the LRP #6 plugs over our summer and they have been good. Since winter has come though, I have had a little trouble with idle and fine tuning using the colder plugs. I have switched to the OS P3 on the recommondation of other Go Tech users here and find them great. I will most likely use them all year round now. With the standard button I found a #5 plug worked fine pretty much all the time.
Summer we normally race at ambient temps of around 20 - 24 deg C and in winter around 14 - 18 deg C maybe a little cooler at times.

Ambient here is:
Summer: 35-45C
Winter:5-15C

I usually use the same plug both seasons.
That's why i'm looking into the P6 or P7 plugs.
Or maybe P7 for summer and P6 for winter.
I'm just looking for info on these plugs besides the P3.

I also want some info on the 9mm venturi if someone has used it.

Well i have half a gallon on my 5 port and I am finally able to run it without tinfoil on the head lol, but I still cant start it without heating the head first.

This thing is a monster plain and simple.
