are we doing VTA as a rain class this year? yes i said it. rain. rain. rain!!!

I had mentioned this to Todd. A lot of us got some old cars hanging around. It could be a fun alternative...

Tamiya Pro Spec coming to Seatac.

whats everyone running. this spring.
I'll be adding a Mod car to the mix along with a little xpress fronty to test out. I swapped in a Gravity spec 25.5 in the Trans Am car ,a few laps on the carpet and it was pretty much dead even with a standard 25.5 . July 1st they become the legal motor for the class so why not just jump into it early. (nothing official from the club on this just the national rules)
Pro 10 will probably be a hit and miss class unless more show up. basically Pro 10 is 200mm or 235mm WGT foam chassis.

Vta and 21.5
Got two 21.5 cars to test out and pick from. Thought of making the lesser my vta car but the old mason car seems good so hard to do. Hesitant.
I've got an old pro 10 car I can throw in the trunk just in case.

At galaxy this yr I plan on running gt-e and formula 1
Got a trf102 to set up and run

Id like to start getting my daughter into it. Recently got her a 3pv futaba and receiver.
She needs a rookie galaxy car and a Tacoma rookie buggy. Get her off her ipad! idk... where I'm at.
Hope your all doing well rc racers

Stock and mod touring car. Any recommendations for motor/battery/gearing with mod touring at Seatac? I've really liked the R1 motors in stock touring so far.

my first time with mod on this track, going to start with mid 7;s for gear ratio with an older reedy 5.0.

I've got 8200mah batteries for stock. Was looking for something similar to the LRP 6700mah for mod.

Found a few setup sheets online, should have a decent motor/gearing baseline to start the season.

I prefer hobbywing mod motors. I am currently on a 4.5t with a 7.7 fdr. For mod batteries any quality ulcg pack works. LIHV packs last a little better in my experience.
