This may sound like a stupid question to some but if i change my front roll centre by rotating the little triangular piece in the speedshot bracket, do i have to adjust the front toe and camber accordingly or do i just leave it and move the hinge pin around.

yes you will have to readjust especially if you go from outer to inner position, or vice versa.

I thought so i just wanted to make sure, thanks Patto

I've never realised how many parts on the G4 are compatible with parts from the V1RRR. So far i've found the front and rear CVD's work and now the flanged ball in my shock stripped so a titanium ball from 3 racing for the RRR fits nicely. Who would of thought

Remember, the G4 is "loosely" based on the VoneR

Front upper arms also direct fit - if you run out of the flying wing ones !
Bearings are the same size -
V one R / RR / S (not RRR) = same size belts ( TM ones are better ) - also the diffs are interchangeable ( but will give you the non-ed trans ratio )
Diff out drives are the same
You can also use the RRR rear sway bar blades, shock pistons & bladders
V one R front bumper fits ( again , the TM one is better ! )

I have an old VoneS that I've given the "TM" treatment - flying wing arms, Kfactory belts & ED transmission fitted, TM shocks etc.....looks so good that it's hard to see the mods, everything just bolts straight on !

Default G4S Transmission Parts Up for grabs

Hey Guys,
I'm making the switch to the ED transmission and offloading all of my stock G4S transmission parts on EBay (item number) 220349661828

On another note.. I was watching RCTVLive.com they had a great tip on getting a nice round wheel arch... which works great...

the G4 RTR also gets a review it the episode too..

Anthony.

New to the TM world. Just got a g4s and wanted to know what hopup would be more useful first, the speed shot front end or the ed transmission. All of my drive time is in the track!

both are important; but get the ed 1st if you can only have 1.

Default Thrust Bearing badness...

The .1mm endplay is perfect and isnt teh problem.
Possible that you have clutch engaging a bit high and its stressing the thrust but i doubt it.
Hey Razzor, thanks for the previous post on thrust bearings... I'm blowing thrust bearings every second race meeting...

i've got grease on it, and slight endplay ....

i do have a largish clutch gap.. .7mm

Here is the question.... whats the difference between running a larger clutch gap and a stiff clutch spring.... ?

At the moment, I've got a soft (red) clutch spring and a large clutch gap...

how would this compare with a smaller clutch gap and a stiff spring... ?

Hope this makes sense... would this explain my thrust bearing badness?
