i have a blitz body that looks like it will fit because there aren't any rear markings for wheels....so you can make it fit nicely. it will also show off the rear diffuser.

I am on igt8.com and trying to order pinions but some say "Rev3" and some don't. Need help so I don't order something that doesn't work with the stock bell. Thanks in advanced for any help.

All pinions in our site will work with X3 stock bells, please give us a call if you have any other questions and happy holidays to all.

The Protoform body came in today and looks like a perfect fit but the foam bumper will have to be trimmed to fit under it.

Good to hear

Just confirming that the Blitz body is a perfect fit......fits tight to the bumper and the rear diffuser fits just under the rear of the body so you can cut it to make it part of the look. quality is also great.

HPI blitz? The short course truck?

The Serpent Blitz. Also the OFNA GTP 31157 McLaren body will fit

Sweet. That means the OFNA Viper body and the dletaplastik bodies should fit as well.

Be careful with the delta plastik bodies. I have the Jag XRS body and the wheelbase is a little short for the X3GT

Hi guys
I am about to go for the Ofna X3 GT but I am still trying to understand why Ofna would have fit a single brake disk, compared to what clearly appears as a better option in the GT V2 with two disks.
I will not be racing the car, but still is the idea behind it that I am trying to understand.
All in all the GT V2 seems a better car and not surprisingly still retails at higher premium vs the X3.
I need a peace of mind, so thanks for your replies!

Dual brakes were needed with the heavy DM-1 and Kyosho. You don't need the dual brakes with the X3 or Serpent GT. These cars are 300/400 grams lighter, but you should get the optional pads and vented disk. The kit fiberglass disk and metal plates will work for awhile, but not long in racing.
I run the dual brakes on the X3, and it just makes the brake pads last longer.

Thanks Grenade10, I have seen you are quite knowledgeable on the car, while I am totally not because this is my first on-road as I come from off-road 1/8. So thanks for your reply.
I have read the whole thread and could not find a clear indication on what I have to buy to have the dual brake system. I also tried to google for the mod/upgrade solution, but nothing clear came up.
Would you be so kind to detail for me which parts I should purchase (with some part number possibly, so that I can identify them if I have to search for them with online merchants), so that I can go ahead?
Sorry to trouble you with this, but it'll really be appreciated. Thanks.
