Thanks, I started with a new set for the main and lost the LR about 50 minutes in, pit guys did a good job changing it. Learned something out of it, that's all that matters.

I agree with that, I think you, I and Aja were the only non Serpent cars in the GT class. I should have been better, but engine and chassis tunning was working against me. Chad and I ran together for a good part of the 4th qualifier, but did not finish there.

I believe Mike had 3 different shore tires on the car with his LF being the hardest. Big change in speed of these cars over the 4 years that I had been to this race.

Thumbs up

Glad to finally make it to Joliet for this one and thanks to Mike Lyday for the hospitality

Hopefully next time we get there sooner then 17 minutes b4 Qualifying starts also we wont listen to the little bird before we left home who told us we "better" run 50's in the main, but I would say while pushing like a dump truck we will take the 6th place and know where we shoulda finished

No crying in racing........

Set up is in the notes... See ya at the next one

Congrats to all the A-main podium racers

I wish I would listen to your little bird about the 50s...that will be the tire to run next year for me for the 60 minutes main. At least the left side...possible 55s FL and 50s RL with 45FR and RR.

Running 45s all around costs me the better position on the main...just saying.

Hey Leon. I know I mentioned 50/ possible 55 for Joliet. Last year 50/50 gave me 17 second lap times But I only had a limited amount

Sorry if my suggestion didn't help.

Phil, if it was you I would have spoke to you directly... Never the less, making the decision is ultimately mine & sorry to even mention it. Learned a lot and it will not happen again.

Felt bad for my team mate Aja because he is never off his game.
