eurokrn the screws will not strip without a good set of wrenches your hand may get tired trying to tighten the screws the mugen cars dont have the stupid problems the ntc3 does in that respect mugen far exceedes the ntc3 ive had both

i was wondering if u guys had a problem with the MTX3's front dogbones? it seem that its abit shory and mine keep popping out after a minor crash at my local track..
Some guys advised me to change to MTX2's dogbones are they are slighty longer.. will it help? Manti.. loved your hop ups.. where did you got them? any links to some of the hop-ups you got? |

vinyard the front dogbones on my car came out you can fix this a couple of ways
you could put orings into the outdrives you could get mtx-2 bones because they are longer or get the universals |

After paying a visit to my LHS today, I heard about the "first 200 MTX3 kits" surprise..
When I got home, sure enough, my kit (which I got from SpeedTech the first week) came with the turbo engine RS-12TS.. Does anyone have specs for this engine including the number of ports? (I haven't bothered taking the engine apart to find out). Oh, and which RB plug is good for this engine running 30% nitro? |
Got a MTX3.... questions, questions, questions....
Hi all:
Santa put an MTX3 on my 'stable' some days ago and starting to assemble (mid assembled nowadays) I have read the manuals and have some questions. When assembling the rear end, had three choices of A-arms to install (High, Med, Low) what are the purpose of them? (Adjusting the roll center????). Installed the Medium ones. On the servo saver I have three choices (of ackermann I suppose). Installed the B as manual stated but none words about those two parts and how to choose. About the rear gear diff. Put the 10000 silicone, my track is plenty of grip (normally we use 42/42 or 45/42) nowadays with damp weather we use 40/40 or 40/37 it's OK for high traction or is wise to install a solid axle at rear. About gear ratios. Seemed a 'little short'. My track is very ample and flowing with a >200Ft backstraight... my engines are a Sirio ROAR and one RB 'Rody 3 port' (1700-215) - with this engine 21/27 on 54/48 on my NTC3 is fine. Some people suggested me to use larger pinions from Yokomo, it's true? Mugen ends at 20 for the second gear. Manticore: Saw your MTX3 photos some pages ago and seemed weird to change the steel screws on the lower chassis for some titanium ones. On my opinion is the best place to have some weight. Can shed some light on this? |

Mugen do make bigger gears think i have a 22 somewhere, but take into account the overall ratio!
