K-Factory makes them, or rather made them. I don't know if K-Factory still exists. Our store carries all of their parts like alum pullies, etc. under the APC label-everything except the body mount braces I guess because they used to have the K-factory logo printed on them.

The K-factory body holder

Yeah, Lee has been out of town this week untill later this night, but his wife is handling business and you better give her a phone call 1-866-648-7672 and reserve your pipe because they are moving fast...they are the hot ticket now a days.

You are right, but since we don't control pipe stinger dia. here in Peru I dindn't gave importance to that detail.
I don't have the pipe yet, It's on the mail, so I can't give you a physical measure, but if i were you I'd ask Lee to measure the stinger of the pipes he has on hand, and take your decision from there.
What about the ones at Ace Hobbies, did you check with them???

New Mugen TC

Hi everybody,

I have spoken a Sponsored Mugen driver today and he said there will be a new TC coming.

It will be released around february 2005, just before te start of the new season.
If they have some troubles then it will be released in the same periode as the MRX 4.

All the factory Mugen guys say that it's impossible to improve much with their current car, the MTX 3 prospec.

If the new car will be a radical change isn't clear yet for them.

Do you have a name of the "Sponsored Mugen" guy you talked to, so we all can be sure this is a FACT.

If this is true then i agree it will be hard to improve the MTX-3/Prospec. However I think 2 areas of improve could be:

1. The droop setting on the front. That extra little "dial" on the left side sucks.

2. The camber adjustment on the rear and the toe adjustment on the front. That sucks as well. If anything at least invent a tool that is readily available to change the settings. Also when you get the MTX-3 or the prospec, the mtx-3 you need like a small allen wrench to change these setting and with the propsec since they give you updated turnbuckles you need small needle nose pliers. Make them both the same and give us a tool.

My 2 cents.

Johnnytc3 09-04-2004 09:33 AM

So the rumors are true! :D I dont know how much they can improve over the mtx3 though

That little extra dial (cam) on the front sway bar is for sway bar and droop adjustment does not suck. In fact it is very critical for fine tuning the front end suspension. Tha kawahara front sway bar that I use actually has one of those adjustment cams on both sides which allows for very precise adjustments. Whith out this adjustment cam you could not make your front droop and sway bar engage perfectly even. It's funny how many people neglect to relize the importance of the front cam on the sway bar, and how it can make the difference between an exceptional handling car vs an ill handling car.
