Cut parts

You will notice a bend in the rear upright, thats where most people are cuting them right above that . You will have to get a shorter bolt but you should drill the hole in the hub deeper.

MTX3 PROSPEC WITH FRONT SOLID AXLE

MADE MYSELF A FRONT SOLID AXLE FOR MY PROSPEC WHICH IS RUN ON RUBBER CLASS HERE IN PERU (SIMILAR TO BRCCA CLASS IN ENGLAND). PERFORMANCE IS AWESOME: LATE BRAKING, GREAT ACCELERATION, FLAT OUT HIGH SPEED TURNS.
WAS WONDERING WHAT WOULD BE THE IDEAL REAR DIFF SILICONE TO GET A GOOD BALANCE IN TRACTION (FRONT AND SIDE) FOR REAR AXLE VS FRONT SOLID.
RIGHT NOW I HAVE THE REAR DIFF WITH BLACK GREASE ONLY AND WANTED TO KNOW THE PROS AND CONS OF INCREASING REAR DIFF OIL THICKNESS.

NO, THAT IS MUGEN EUROPE'S PIPE MADE BY M. MIELKE FOR THEM. THE USA VERSION P01002 IS A DIFFERENT PIPE MADE SPECIALLY FOR MUGEN USA.

Try the Kawahara negative diff with 7000 for rubber, or 10000 with foams.

Front Diff

I'm sure this has been posted before, but I can't find it. I was wondering what the part #'s were to complete the frond diff, and also who sold them. My LHS only carries NTC3 crap.

mtx receiver battery pack?

:D hi...i'm using the speedmind 750mah nimh receiver battery...

i've used it a few times only but never for a long main before. only for a tank full of run time...

anyway last weekend in a 30 minutes final, suddenly my car stall with the engine running at the 15 minutes mark...i found out that my 'failsafe' light was on. indicating the batt. was weak.

what i'm getting at here is has anybody with a 'speedmind' AAA size battery experiencing the same cause someone told me that this battery cannot last long. i did recharge the batt b4 the main.

b4 this when i was using a normal flat pack battery ( not for the mtx) it could last the whole day.... thanks....

Yeh I use the speedmind 750 Mah battery pack with no problems it lasts 5 x 5min Qualifyers and a 20min main. I just charge the battery pack as slow as possible so it can hold its charge.:)

Are "Fast Tyres" made with an offset? I wnat to order a set but I am running the wheel spacers on my MTX so i can run normal tires, I am wondering if I need to remove the spacers for these tires and what effects it will have

RC Dumb 08-16-2004 08:50 AM

he new FastTire that endorsed by Mugen are made with 2mm offset per spec MTX-3 required. however, you can still find the non-offset one.
