Can i drill holes in the first and second gear housing's to make them lighter. Or is the lightened ones that you buy made out of different material.

Will it stuff them or be o.k

One for the pro's.

Please do. one of the guys in palm bay is a machinist and made a spool for one of our friends up there, but he doesnt make them anymore.

Spool

If you want to try to make your own spool, here is how I did it.
It works great, and improved my lap times.

Let me know if you have any questions. Just remember to keep your rear diff loose. About 10K oil.

How does the new ofna starter box compare to the mugen box?

Which is better?

I use 2 9450's, after the throttle servo I had in the car died. You'll want to keep an eye on your battery pack, it'll drain more quickly with 2 digital servos, but I have been able to finish 30 minute mains with a full charge before the start. I use the RD Logics 730mah battery pack.

Good luck Mike, I've been waiting for mine for a month... Even Superior doesn't have it, and they've been on the phone with Mugen every time I go up there...

maybe he shifts to lower gear to slow the car down? or maybe he just, with precise maneuver ability, roll the car to complete stop? or maybe he must've had a good pit man.

heard that the RD battery somewhat won't last as long as the Mugen ones. wish I know about all the mysterious science stuffs in it so I can figure out why. I charge my Mugen pack at 0.5 and it'd last me about half a day or so.

I haven't had a problem with the run time on my RD Logic 800 mah pack. Lasts me all of practice and 1st qualifier (probably more, but I don't want a bad qual due to dead battery  ).
