What about for the rear end? are you using A B or C?

The A works best at the Royal Palm. But use the B, I don't want you getting too fast out there:D :D :smile: :lol: :ha:

Are you going out on Sat for the seminar? Ed's going to explain a bunch of things that you'd prolly be interested in.

I've used the Eagletree recorder with my electric cars but not with my Mugen yet.

It works great but with a 2 speed, you have to figure engine speed for one of the gears in Excel. It would definately be useful to see where your chutch engages and what RPM the car shifts at.

They also have a telemetry unit in the works.

I am planning on it. I need all the help I can get.

what do you want your car to handle like?
i use b and c and cut the rear hubs down and run rubber tyres
build it as kit!! and try the differant ones for your self

I run at Royal Palm and Palm bay. Royal Palm is a nice sized track, whereas Palm Bay is a little tighter. I want something in the middle to i can worry about toe in/out, camber, caster, etc. and not about the servo saver and rear end.

Cartman, I run rubber tires too, just finished building my new Prospec, and have been doing first tests....wow!!! car is great. Had it set with your setting guide, but was wondering on your comments about cutting down rear hubs, but you don't explain why and how much, and you also post to use 3mm washers under link arm????

The problem is that something in the middle will not work as well as you want on either track. I guess stick with the A ackerman in front so you'll have all the steering you want. And then just experiment with the rear blocks, they're not really that hard to change out. But A in the rear works MUCH better at Royal Palm

I've been using the GPM uprights all year, and haven't had the first problem with them. Been looking for the rears, like a fool I sold the rear uprights to Grinder, and have been wanting to get them. Thanks.:)

Oh and use A front and A rear.

i've been following the discussion about the steering a,,b,c thing and also on the rear block a,b,c thing...

i think i understand about the steering block....but on the rear block thing can some one explain simply to me....thanks:(

Actually it is a little different than this.
A steering block is the least amout of accerman smother and gives you less steering
B steering block is middle about of accerman and smooth and gives you more steering.
C steering block is the most accerman gives you the most steering and is the most aggressive.

A block is for smooth tracks gives you less traction.
B block is for semi smooth tracks gives you a little more traction.
C block is for ruff tracks gives you the most traction.
I usually start with the B block and go from there.
