Default rear bulkhead

What do you think about A-A, B-B, C-C parts in the rear? When can I use one or another? A friend of mine told me that A parts are for large tracks, and C for small, but he didn't now why. I'm not sure

These change the amount the rear of your car will roll.
The A-A block gives you the least roll and C-C block the most roll.
The more roll, the more weight will move over the tyres and should produce more grip.

Default Overdrive and Front Spool Conversions

Will someone please comment on the Over-drive pulley sets available (16/19 ??). I don't understand why they are useful......

The stock pulleys from the main-shaft to the rear are a 19/48....the stock pulleys on the front half of the car are a 19:24 and 16:32.....both ends have a ratio of 2.526315~~~, exactly the same....

Why have over-drive on the front of the car....tire-wear or some better feel to the handling?

Anybody got a source for a front-spool or spool conversion for the MTX-3? I thought Kawahara made an aluminum converter that could replace the diff gears to achieve the lock-up.....does anybody know where I could get one? Does anybody make a solid spool that fits the stock one-way pulley?

Thanks for the advice.....(and the entertaining penguin games... )

Default Clutch Adjustment

Doing break-in on my MTX 3 this weekend.

It seems that the clutch hooks up a little late. Do I tighten clockwise or counter-clockwise to make the clutch engage earlier?

Thanks,

Matt

Default 2nd Gear...

Ok, have finished basic break-in on the motor and am now giving it some full throttle (although running very rich).

I can't seem to find second gear. So I made sure it was set at the factory 3 turns out. I believe that its shifting too early and never hitting 1st gear. But even at 2 1/2 and 2 1/4 turns out I'm still not getting any shift. How many turns out are you guys running the stock 2-speed?
