yes they do. you have to buy the "mugen mtx-3 pulley set". you will get all the pulleys the mtx-3 uses in the bag. all you need is the 16t but it's nice to have back-up. and the pulley set is only like $6.

I raced mine all season , and am still running it when the weather cooperates. I changed my front belt to the MRx3 6mm (wide) Mugen part no.DO240 "6mm MRX belt" and have run it 6-8 months. My car is just over a year old and I just changed the rear belt for the 1st time. I'm getting the car ready to run at the WinterNats so I'm gonna change all the belts.

Like they said above, even Baker doesn't call the NTC3 a "REAL RACECAR"... but i had one and won quite a few races with it. But if you're gonna race, on a real racetrack, not some parking lot track....If you're gonna race where they blow off all the debris beforehand, then you're gonna chase an MTx3 or race one. Its THAT Good!

Belt drive cars are meant for racing on clean surfaces, not up and down the street out in front of the house.

Thanks for the replies. I do currently run the NTC3 and at the local track(joyce park) there dominant. Never had any actual durability issues other than the ring and pinions always stripping and costing me wins; that's why I'm looking for a new kit.

don't get me wrong.. ntc3 can be very competitive on small tracks. but once you get big sweepers and long straights there goes the diff. that's why i can't wait for the serpent 710. i've seen the ball diff on the rear of 705. they're very tough compared to the ball diffs of ntc3. but i love my mugen so i will keep it and probably have both serpent and mugen. no more ntc3 costing me race all the time.

like i said before it's always fun to finish the race!

This is a good point and you got yourself out of my sarcasm rather well !!!

I will wait a couple of months after it's released and see what the comments are.

I'm still keeping my mtx3s but could add another kit in the near future.

I have to evolve but do I want to go back to being a worm?

I have no lolality to any manufactuter...untill they start sponsoring me I am going with the fastest thing around. If its Serpent, Associated, Mugen, Trinity, HPI....well...maybe not HPI, yea...now that I mentioned definetly not HPI but out of all those others I can care less. As long as I have the money to buy it I wont have any regrets.
